› What Good Shall I Do This Day?: Day 51: The Quiet Life
Today I read an article in Volume Three of Kinfolk Magazine about living a quiet life in solitude. One of the quotes in the article was by Rilke from Letters to a Young Poet:
People have even made eating into something else: necessity on the one hand, excess no the other; have muddled the…
› What Good Shall I Do This Day?: Day 48: World Autism Awareness Day
April 2nd is World Autism Awareness Day, and I thought I would just share that with you because my Cousin’s daughter, Annabelle, has Autism. Its a disability that our family has been forced to learn about and cope with, but that we otherwise wouldn’t have spent the time paying attention to. We…
› What Good Shall I Do This Day?: Day 47: Zeryndipity
There is a shop on Etsy called Zeryndipity that I am seriously in love with. The owner/designer’s name is Eryn Carlisle and she is another good soul with a good heart and a great design philosophy. So I thought I’d give her some kudos and write about her and her shop on this blog.

Today a big group of friends and I donated $40 a piece to go on a pub crawl for six hours. We went to five different bars, had 20 pitchers (among 10 of us) and all of the proceeds of all that fun went straight to the Moffitt Cancer Center, based in Tampa, FL. Moffitt has treated several of my friends and family for cancer, and many of them have survived and are currently in remission after successful treatment!
There may be a Crawl for Cancer in a city near you. If there is, you should check out the link, by clicking above, and get a team together for a great day of fun and philanthropy!

› What Good Shall I Do This Day?: Day 23: Positive Affirmations
Today I arrived home, to my mom’s house, from a fun cruise vacation to Mexico and back. I have been sort of obsessed with checking my e-mail, Facebook, twitter, etc. etc. I missed it… although I didn’t really notice its absence while I was away. The ship gave you the opportunity to use the…
› What Good Shall I Do This Day?: Day 15 : Honor Your Loved Ones
Today I was talking to a friend, and he commented on my goodness project by telling me about something his Mom asks that he and his siblings do each year. After their grandmother passed away, they all celebrate her birthday by doing a random act of kindness for someone else. He gave me the example…

› What Good Shall I Do This Day?: Day 11 : Trust at the Brooklyn Flea
Today Jayteewo, our friend Kenneth, and I decided to go to the Brooklyn Flea after trying out the Shake Shack in Downtown Brooklyn (it was just as yum, and indoors!). We found lots of fun and cool things at the flea, but in particular I was amazed at one seller’s kindness and trust.
I don’t…
